Looking to get teens to make the Catholic Faith their own? That will only happen when they understand how remarkable salvation history is. Venture: The Bible Timeline introduces teenagers to the “big picture” of salvation history in a way that is simple to understand and easy to teach. This program will get teens to open their Bibles and learn the story of their faith with a focus on God’s covenants and biblical characters. Once teens understand the Bible, their faith will become a relevant and indispensable part of their lives. Join us for Venture: The Bible Timeline for Teens ages 13-19 in the lower level of Sacred Heart Hall, 5 Summer Street, Hallowell from 6:00-7:30 PM (following the 5:00 PM Mass) on the following Sunday Nights: 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/23, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23, and 3/30. Begins on Monday, September 16th from 6:30-7:30 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Gardiner. The book for this class is “Jesus, The Way, The Truth, and The Life” authored by Marcellino D’Ambrosio, a theologian, international speaker, and author of several best-selling books.  The book costs around $20 and can be obtained from several online retailers. Please come prepared to discuss the book’s Preface, Introduction, and Chapter 1 during our first class.
