AUGUSTA---St. Michael School in Augusta has long focused on imparting an understanding of the importance of service to students and providing them with opportunities to give back to a community that has given them so much.

With gratitude for his long, faithful ministry in the Diocese of Portland, Bishop Robert P. Deeley has announced that Fr. Eugene F. Gaffey will retire from active ministry on July 1, 2016.
