Throughout Maine Catholic Schools Week (Jan. 28-Feb. 3), students of all ages at St. Michael School in Augusta will carefully craft, create, and color special cards with a message of thanks to a group of local heroes: first responders.

As we begin a new year, may we find new ways to bring the love of God we know in Jesus into our world. This year we treasure, in particular, two of God’s most precious gifts of love: family and peace.
