The SEARCH program provides free support services in the Kennebec Valley for seniors who are 60 years and older.

SEARCH addresses the need for assistance from a growing population of seniors while offering a volunteer a rewarding way to spend a few hours a week bringing joy to someone else.
Our main goal is to help our seniors stay in their home as long as possible, by having the support they need from our program and volunteers, so they can live more independently.

Services that we offer:

• Friendly visitation and companionship
• Telephone reassurance
• Transportation to appointments
• Assistance with correspondence/forms
• Help with errands/grocery shopping
• Referrals to other services and programs
• “Meals together: socialization program
